“Paramount” is located in the small town of Dafundo. In a town that found a place in the works of several writers – Eça de Queiroz, Aquilino Ribeiro, Almeida Garrett – who praised Dafundo for its famous beach, lively promenade and described Dafundo as an elegant tourist destination with a good atmosphere.

The “Paramount” development occupied the site of the old Dafundo printing plant. The project was created by Atelier de Arquitetura GAVINHO, inspired by SOHO style, and aimed to transform the abandoned building into an avant-garde development, restoring the luster of the long history of socio-cultural activities in the area.

The new development will maintain the structure of the facade, preserving the building’s past, and renew its exterior. “Paramount” will include 65 luxury apartments, 5 two-story villas and a three-story residence.

While retaining its modernist features, the project redefines the concept of luxury. “Paramount” is a testament to reinvention and redevelopment in the real estate area, where history and modernity coexist in a timeless space.
