2nd edition of the Premium and Luxury Foreign Real Estate Fair

The second edition of the Partners International Premium and Luxury Foreign Real Estate Fair is behind us. The results exceeded our wildest expectations. And although the emotions have not subsided yet, we are ready for a little summary.

The fair lasted 2 days, but was preceded by weeks of preparations. We wanted to be sure that we will provide our clients and guests not only with excellent and complete substantive knowledge, but also an attractive setting. This is what happened. On May 24 and 25, our Warsaw headquarters in Fort Piłsudski was visited by several hundred guests, and our agents from Portugal, Spain, Italy, Tenerife, Cyprus and Dubai held over 220 individual meetings. Clients had the opportunity to talk about tax optimization with representatives of the PATH Family Office law firm from Geneva, as well as about financing the purchase of real estate with representatives of Santander Private Banking, which partnered with us in this unique event. During the fair, there were also lectures on the tax and immigration consequences of purchasing real estate abroad and tax and legal aspects related to the purchase of real estate in Spain.

The lectures, as well as the networking and tasting part, took place on the sunny terrace of Partners International, located by the water. We took care of refreshments, good wine and music, our agents and experts provided substantive support, and the perfect weather did the rest.

The only Foreign Real Estate Fair in Poland

The experience of the previous 1st edition of the Foreign Real Estate Fair allowed us to prepare even better for the event and create a comprehensive event that stands out on the Polish market. The fair is a natural stage of the path we took several years ago. It all started when Joanna Czapska, CEO and Managing Director of Partners International, initiated the Polish Agents Around The World project, bringing together Polish, local agents who usually live in parts of the world popular for purchasing real estate. They came to Warsaw to advise our clients on purchasing real estate, tell them about local markets and customs, and help them choose an offer that perfectly suits their needs. Regardless of whether the goal was to invest or find your dream second home.

During the conversations, customers could find out:

  • How much do properties cost in different countries?
  • What revenues can they generate?
  • What does inheritance law look like?
  • What does the purchase process look like?
  • What do tax formalities look like?
  • Can you take a loan to buy real estate in a given country?

The talks were accompanied by the presentation of specific properties from our offer, both those ready to move in from the private and secondary markets, investment properties, and construction plots.2nd edition of the Premium and Luxury Foreign Real Estate Fair in numbers.

Time for some numbers and statistics. The three most popular destinations among our clients were Portugal, Spain and Italy. The most frequently asked questions concerned legal and tax issues. More than half of the guests visiting the Fair took advantage of the opportunity to meet with a credit and legal advisor. According to our surveys conducted with visitors after the conversations, 98% of them found the meetings helpful in making a purchase decision. There will still be time to summarize the number of finalized transactions, but the forecasts already look extremely optimistic.
