On the coast, you can count on 25-31 degrees between June and August and around 12-14 in the coldest month of January. Coastal areas also differ in terms of humidity. Cuisine in Spain

Cuisine is an area where Spain definitely scores. Again, this is where local diversity creeps in. Property owners in Spain will also fall in love with tapas culture, i.e. wandering from bar to bar and sampling small delights, among which are olives, padron peppers, fried seafood, potato tortillas or patatas bravas, all preferably accompanied by Spanish wine. And if you come across a wine whose quality leaves a lot to be desired, you can dilute it with colourless orangeade and create the popular tinto de verano. We like this approach!

The cultural heritage of present-day Spain includes the Christian, Judaic and Arab legacies. The Roman conquest of the peninsula (3rd – 1st century BC) left a lasting mark on the local culture. So when in this country, we slow down, focus on the present moment, enjoy life and, above all, celebrate. Spaniards attach great importance to cultivating relationships, with communal feasting at the forefront. They have a reputation for being open, laughing and easy-going people. It is this openness, with communal meals and hours of conversation, that is part of the Spanish culture that will give you, as a Spanish property owner, the chance to not only feel like you are among your own, but to fall in love and adopt some of these customs.
