Chlebnicka Street – one of the most popular and prettiest streets in the Old Town of Gdańsk. Formerly, it had the name of Ław Bread Street, because there were stalls where bread was sold. The street starts near St. Mary’s Basilica (as an extension of Piwna Street) and reaches Brama Chlebnicka. There are several noteworthy Renaissance tenement houses on it. In the immediate vicinity you will find all the most important monuments of the Old Town: Długi Targ with Długa Street, Town Hall, Neptune’s Fountain, St. Mary’s Basilica and additionally plenty of cafes, pubs, restaurants, museums and shops.
