DESCRIPTION:
Permit for the construction of a five-story building with outbuildings at ul. Marszałkowska was published shortly before the outbreak of the First World War in March 1914. Posępny’s machine factory. The war stopped the construction and the tenement house was finally completed after 1920. It was an early modernist building with flat bay windows, a clearly separated two-story pedestal part and large shop windows. Before 1939, one of the premises on the ground floor was used by Eugeniusz Hebda’s brush and soap shop.
Luckily, the tenement house at 17 Marszałkowska St. not only survived the war, but unlike the burnt neighboring tenement houses, it was successfully integrated into the blocks of the Marszałkowska Residential District. At the beginning of the 1950s, there was the famous Rarytas restaurant, a lux category restaurant, which with its sophistication was to outweigh two other socialized “S” restaurants, namely Bristol and Kameralna.
The apartment is located on the 4th floor of this tenement house and gives a sense of space thanks to its height of 3.3 m and a wall with large windows, including two balcony windows.
The apartment includes a closed parking space.
