BUILDING:

The apartment is located in the annexe of a neo-renaissance palace from 1877 – the Karnicki Palace. The building was the Warsaw residence of Senator Jan Karnicki and was built as a small but refined urban palace on a representative street: Aleje Ujazdowskie.

In 1997, the palace was restored to its former standard and slightly modernised, especially in terms of technology. On the basis of the preserved fragments, the stuccowork was reconstructed, the façade was renewed, the ceilings were replaced and the staircases were renovated. Due to the excellent renovation, the building received an award in 1999 from the General Conservator of Monuments of the Republic of Poland.
