LOCATION:
In the 1920s, Plac Kaszubski (Kashubian Square) – the market square at the time – was bustling with the life of the nascent city of Gdynia. Although the area fell into oblivion for a time, today it is the heart of the new city center. From the moment it was built, “Portova” became an icon of urban architecture, drawing on the modernist traditions of Gdynia with its simplicity and geometric form. The over 50-meter-high landmark closes the perspective of the square, visible from Świętojańska Street.
The interiors feature elegant staircases and a representative entrance with a reception area. A private relaxation area has been created for residents, with a gym, saunas, a club room, a coworking space, and a kids’ room. On the roof of the landmark building, there is a viewing point accessible only to residents.
The Gdynia Market Hall is within a few hundred meters, and the beach, the Seaside Boulevard, and the full infrastructure of the city center are within a 10-minute walk.
