BUILDING:
The tenement located at 16 Poznańska Street in Warsaw was built in 1910 for brothers Adolf and Herman Knothe. Among the many historical elements of the staircase and interiors, the original Art Nouveau metal balustrades, woodwork of the doors to the premises and the floors have been preserved.
Thanks to the modernisation carried out, the historic tenement has regained its former splendour, thus becoming one of the buildings stylistically reminiscent of the old Warsaw of the early 19th century, then known as the “Paris of the North”.
LOCATION:
Poznanska Street is one of the most beautiful streets in Warsaw. Systematically renovated – it has undergone a complete metamorphosis over the past few years. Renovation of historic tenement houses has turned over its former pre-war splendour and made the street a fashionable location for atmospheric pubs, restaurants, boutiques and luxury hotels.
It has regained its splendour, retaining its former identity by referencing the architecture of old Warsaw.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Additionally payable administrative rent in the amount of about PLN 1,500.
