The business world is once again observing dynamic changes at the highest levels of management. Marcin Kuśmierz, the previous CEO of the e-commerce platform Shoper, has been appointed as CEO of Allegro. This change will officially take place on May 5, when Marcin Kuśmierz will replace Roy Petrucci. The decision to select a new leader was made by the board of directors of Allegro, choosing a manager with extensive experience in the technology, e-commerce, fintech and AI sectors.
Importantly, Marcin Kuśmierz is also the chairman of the supervisory board at Partners International – the leader of the premium real estate market in Poland. The company, under the leadership of Joanna Czapska, has been consistently developing its services and in 2023 brokered transactions worth over PLN 800 million. Future plans include creating a new generation real estate agency that, thanks to modern technologies, will raise customer service standards to an unprecedented level. Marcin Kuśmierz is to help implement this vision, as an investor and advisor, bringing his experience in digitalization and innovation to the company.
The new CEO of Allegro faces a huge challenge – further development of the platform, strengthening its position on the European market and increasing operational efficiency. In his first statements after the announcement of Marcin Kuśmierz’s appointment, he emphasized the importance of building a strong organizational culture based on openness and cooperation. His ambition is for Allegro to become the first-choice platform for an even greater number of consumers and sellers.
By taking up such a key position at Allegro, while maintaining his seat on the Supervisory Board of Partners International, Marcin Kuśmierz continues his mission of transforming businesses by implementing innovative solutions.
