A secluded street in the heart of

half of the 17th century, on the initiative of Sigismund III Vasa, the area was taken over by the Sigismund Embankment, which was a complex of earthen fortifications erected to protect the city from the growing Turkish threat. In reference to this event, the street was given its present name in 1770.

ARCHITECTURE
The development now complements the original architectural plans created in the 1950s for Warsaw’s
Downtown by architects: Stanislaw Brukalski, Anna and Stanislaw Szurmiak, Barbara Andrzejewska and Krystyna Jakimowicz.
Park Place 3 has been perfectly integrated
into its surroundings, thanks to cooperation with the Capital’s
Conservator of Monuments. He made sure that the building fit into the historical urban concept in a modern way. He also watched over the appropriate use of architectural detail.
