Perfumiarnia
Perfumiarnia
Poznań is a great place for regeneration projects and those that bring a new vibrancy to the city. The Perfumery is undoubtedly one such project – a development carried out by Garvest Real Estate on the site of a former perfume and soap factory, whose history dates back to 1921. The factory was founded by the Stempniewicz brothers; later, following changes in ownership, it became the property of the Pollena–Lechia consortium.
Today, it is a space where luxury blends with a touch of history, creating a bouquet of scents unique in Greater Poland. The design was created by JEMS Architekci, a renowned architectural practice responsible for projects such as Pixel and the modernisation of the Raczyński Library in Poznań.
Where is Perfumiarnia located in Poznań?
The development is situated in the Łazarz district of Poznań, at the junction of Głogowska and Śniadeckich streets, in the immediate vicinity of Wilson Park. The first phase of the project was completed in 2022.
What is the Perfumiarnia development?
Poznań’s Perfumiarnia is a complex of six five-storey buildings, arranged in three pairs. Their forms are characterised by undulating, sculptural façades and arched terraces, which also serve as loggias. These are screened by an openwork silver-coloured mesh, which can be controlled individually by the owners.
The buildings’ façades have been integrated into their surroundings; on the side facing the historic buildings, they are more austere and structured, whilst on the side facing the park, they are slightly rounded, creating a pleasingly smooth silhouette.
How many flats are there in Perfumiarna?
A total of 140 flats, ranging in size from 46 to 154 m², have been built in the complex. The complex features both studio flats and larger, up to 4-room flats. It is also worth noting the ceiling heights, which range from 3 to 3.5 metres.
The flats are very well lit, thanks to the numerous glazed areas. Owners or tenants can enjoy a range of amenities, such as air conditioning, an underground car park with storage lockers, lifts and a bicycle storage room. As befits such a luxurious development, a concierge service is also provided.
The neighbourhood is also worth noting. In Wilson Park, you’ll find Betonhaus, which currently serves as a meeting place and is home to two restaurants (Petit Paris and Affina).
