The Warzelnia development combines the 19th-century historical heritage of the Mycielski Brewery with modern architecture and state-of-the-art technology. The design preserves the authentic, raw historical architectural character (including exposed brickwork with chips and imperfections), whilst introducing a high standard of finish to the flats and communal areas. Nickel Development Sp. z o.o. is responsible for the development.

Poznań’s Warzelnia is situated in the vicinity of recreational areas, including walking trails, and close to Lake Malta. Right next door is Staw Browarny, to which a private access path has been designed from the development, leading directly to the shore.

The Warzelnia project has also been thoroughly thought through in terms of the use of vegetation, which is one of its distinguishing features. The developer has proposed a substantial number of plantings, whilst respecting the natural topography of the site.

The development is characterised by a high standard of finish, whilst preserving the historic details of the former Mycielski brewery. The interiors of Warzelnia combine the raw character of the materials with minimalist design.

Warzelnia offers both studio flats and larger flats. The ceiling height of the tallest of these reaches up to 7 metres, particularly in units with mezzanines and in loft-style flats. Some of these feature historic brick walls, vaulted ceilings, and cast-iron columns and beams. Great care has also been taken with the quality of the window frames, and there are large, sliding patio windows.

The flats are fitted with air conditioning and electric external or internal screen-type blinds, underfloor heating in selected flats, as well as a Smart Home system.

The terraces and loggias feature pergolas providing shade and privacy. The ground-floor flats have private gardens with the option to install a hot tub.

Modern amenities are, of course, included – an underground car park with charging points for electric cars, residents’ storage rooms and bicycle lock-ups with a separate bicycle storage area. Naturally, there is also a solar panel system, as well as 24-hour CCTV and security.

The complex also includes commercial premises.
