The “Grey House” colony is a unique complex of buildings located in the heart of Stary Mokotow. It was built between 1928 and 1932 according to the design of Jan Stefanowicz. The name of the housing estate comes from the cement brick, characteristic of the construction industry in Warsaw in the 1920s and 1930s, which was used to finish the facades of the buildings.

To this day, the buildings of the “Grey Houses” Colony are among the most architecturally interesting residential colonies in Mokotow. The inner courtyard is a large well-kept green area.
