Built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries on commission from Izaak Rotenberg, it gained its Neo-Renaissance appearance and an additional storey thanks to the design of Władysław Marconi, an architect known for his design of the Bristol Hotel, among other projects.
After being reclaimed by Michał Karski’s heirs, the tenement house was thoroughly renovated by Edipresse Polska S.A. in 2001-2002. During the renovation, supervised by architect Anna Rostkowska from the PRO-ART studio, the interiors gained a modern character while retaining their original details. The result is a unique office space that harmoniously combines classic elegance with modern functionality. The building is listed in the Municipal Register of Monuments and is subject to conservation protection.
