Kamienica Ordynacka

LOCATION
Kamienica Ordynacka is located in the heart of Warsaw, at the intersection of Okólnik and Ordynacka streets. It is the very center of the city, a combination of history and modernity. Above Tamka is the Ostrogski Castle, in whose cellars the Golden Duck guards the treasure. Next to the tenement stands the austere glass edifice of the Frederic Chopin Museum. Opposite the Tenement House is located the green square of Bohdan Wodiczko. INVESTMENT
The tenement house, built at the beginning of the second decade of the 20th century on the grounds of the former Krasinski Ordynacja, is one of the few buildings that has survived in an almost unchanged form.
Phase I of the investment is the revitalization of the building in a style that is a modern adaptation of the traditional style of the 1920s. Light-colored walls, white marble staircases, brass trim, stunning Art Nouveau elevator doors, art deco lintel ornamentation, preserved black and white checkerboard flooring.
Phase II is the adaptation of the attic for residential purposes. On the 6th floor of the building, 9 luxurious high-rise apartments overlooking the Vistula River were created.
Stage III is the reconstruction of the corner of the Ordynacka Tenement, which was demolished during the war, and the restoration of the historic structure from the interwar years. The intimate building with modern architecture moistening to the surrounding tenements will have 6 floors. It will contain only 5 apartments, each with an area of about 140 sqm. On the top floor a two-level apartment with a spacious terrace has been designed. On each floor 1 apartment has been located, each with a view towards the Vistula Escarpment.
The building has an underground garage.
On the first floor are designed commercial premises, entrances to the building and staircases. The townhouses have two independent courtyards, a caged layout with entrances to the staircases from the gate and from the inner courtyards.
