The exclusive residential neighborhood of Rincón is characterized by nature, crops and the best black sand beaches on the island. A wild and sparsely populated landscape has been preserved here, which is something unusual on the island. The beaches of El Ancón and Los Patos, with volcanic sand and limited public access, are considered among the most beautiful in the entire northern area. The location, minutes from the historic center of La Orotava (a UNESCO heritage site), Puerto de La Cruz and the northern airport, makes it an isolated but well-connected place.

Between La Playa de Los Patos and El Ancón, this magnificent promontory sits at the end of a valley of fruit and banana crops. The house is an authentic Atlantic vantage point, captivating the best sunsets on the island overlooking the island of La Palma and the La Orotava valley. It is divided into two buildings, the villa and the attached Santa Ana Monastery. The main house is upstairs and the guest suite is on the first floor.

It was renovated by prestigious architect Virgilio Gutiérrez Herreros in 2020, preserving the original spirit of the traditional Canarian building and opening up the spaces with various terraces and solariums that surround the entire property. The outdoor terrace and gardens that lead to the hermitage and the villa’s main entrance immediately bring visitors into a warm world of history, tradition, sea and light.

The upper floor is arranged on a large outdoor veranda and has an indoor vantage point that runs along the entire façade, where you can enjoy the interiors and amazing views. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the main one with an en suite bathroom overlooking the beach and a side terrace. The kitchen is connected to a spectacular veranda where you can enjoy the best evenings and sunsets.

There are two apartments on the first floor, one with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and another loft type with one bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Wood inside and out, marble, top-quality finishes, wooden cladding, underfloor heating and cooling, heat pump. The spaces combine the lightness of a beach environment with the luxury and sophistication of fine materials and beautiful architectural lines. The hermitage has been restored and is hallowed for religious ceremonies. The plot culminates in a large garden with endemic plants, on the edge of the sea. Access to the beach takes about three minutes on foot.
