Wilanów was the oldest settlement established in the former territories of Warsaw. Previously called Milanów, finally, thanks to the Villa Nova palace built in the 17th century, it was baptized as Wilanów. The surroundings are beautiful, picturesque areas of former orchards in Wilanów. Currently, it is one of the most sought-after locations by expats and families with children. First of all, because Wilanów offers an excellent educational infrastructure. This is where German, Canadian and French schools are located, and British and American schools are located in the near distance.
Peace and quiet, and at the same time close to the city center. In the immediate vicinity, there are all amenities and entertainment for those who like to spend time actively and in style: a golf course, a squash club and a gym with a swimming pool.
Wilanów is dominated by low-rise residential and apartment buildings blended into the unique landscape of nature, Wilanów Park and the Wilanów Palace. It is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood where you can relax, but thanks to the rapid development of industrial infrastructure, you can also do shopping and find entertainment.
Stary Wilanów (Wilanów Niski) consists mainly of single-family houses, semi-detached houses and terraced houses that were built in post-war Poland. Unfortunately, World War II did not leave any traces of the former Wilanów district.
The modern buildings in Nowy Wilanów are the result of developers’ interest in these areas, already after 2000. Miasteczko Wilanów is a very frequent location sought by families with children. It is a space that combines all the functions of the city not far from the very center of the capital.
