The building

The building was raised in 1936-1938 in the modernist style, designers: Wacław Ryttel, Jadwiga and Jerzy Poznańscy. Famous people who lived here: Kazimierz Wierzyński – poet, prose writer and publicist, co-founder of the poetic group Skamander, prof. Jan Zachwatowicz – architect and long-time General Monument Conservator, creator of the reconstruction concept of the Warsaw Old Town.
