Kamienica w Podwórzu
ABOUT THE INVESTMENT
The Tenement House in the Courtyard has five floors and includes the east wing and the west wing of the building at 22 Wilcza St. A renovation of the building and the courtyard is currently underway to restore the original condition. As part of it, work is being carried out to strengthen the building’s structure, which is more than a century old, and elements of the rafter framing and roof sheathing are being replaced, as well as internal installations to meet today’s standards. The facades of the building will be completely restored and covered with the original color. The windows, like the doors, will be stylized to look like the historic ones, with muntins and boxes shaped to match the original. Portals at the doors in the central staircase have been donated for restoration. The staircases in the stairwells will be renovated, and balcony railings will be reconstructed. In the final phase of construction, a spacious courtyard will be landscaped to meet the needs of residents, with tall and low greenery, benches and bicycle racks. Park lights and stylish lamps will be installed at the entrances to individual staircases, over which protective canopies will be reconstructed. The handover of the units to buyers is scheduled for the first quarter of 2015, and the total completion of the project will be in the second quarter of 2015.
