Dolny Wrzeszcz is constantly changing and attracts attention with stylish, eclectic architecture and an interesting atmosphere. It’s one of the oldest districts. Thanks to the combination of historic architecture and modern style, we create a unique space with an open patio inviting to meetings and integration. The beautiful, glass hipped roof of the post office building is a characteristic element of the investment, referring to the style of the historic structure from 1929 – says Ewa Nowicka, sales director of Euro Styl SA.

Thanks to the so-called main axis of the lower terrace, it is easy to get around by car. Bus and tram lines run close to the investment, ensuring convenient access to the neighboring districts of the Tri-City – Sródmiescie, Jelitkowo, Brzezno, Zaspa and Nowy Port. Gdansk Wrzeszcz railway station, main crossroads junction, on both sides of Gołebia street. In September 1951, a modern four-department kindergarten (today Kindergarten No. 28) was opened in the courtyard on the north side. The two-story building could accommodate up to 140 children. As a result, the place has finally become worthy of its pre-war name.

Dolny Wrzeszcz is one of the most populous districts of Gdańsk.

The southern part of the district, in the area of the Wrzeszcz railway station, is within the range of the Central Service Band (CPU). This is where service facilities of a supra-local character, such as Galeria Metropolia, are concentrated. The Department of Pharmacy of the Medical University of Gdańsk is also located in the district, while in the vicinity of Hallera Lane and Klinicznej street there are several social service facilities, including Teachers’ Education Center, Municipal Family Support Center, Emergency Care and Medical College.

The district is very well equipped with basic social services – schools and kindergartens. Parks, squares, and recreational areas are quite evenly located, some of which require renovation.

Due to the intensive development of this part of the city, new transport routes are planned, including the so-called Nowa Kosciuszko (from Zolnierzy Wykletych w strone Brzezna i Nowego Portu Lane) or the Droga Czerwona, as well as the expansion of the tram network.
