Sadyba is an estate located in the southern part of Mokotów. One of the borders is the natural water reservoir Czerniakowskie Lake, which, along with the greenery around, constitutes the Nature Reserve. It is an amazing place for walks, picnics and even swimming in the lake.
The name of the “Sadyba” estate comes from the “Sadyba” Officers’ Building and Housing Cooperative, founded in 1923, which built houses for high-ranking officers. The intimate streets are known for gas lantern routes and beautiful villas built on a grand scale. There are green squares between the buildings, which complement this quiet and peaceful estate. This is why Sadyba is called a garden city – it combines the classic functions of a city and a garden conducive to relaxation and rest.
From the very beginning, Sadyba was a point of interest for people from the world of politics, artists and distinguished military men: its residents have been, among others: Józef Beck, Col. Henryk Bagiński and Stanisław Grochowiak. To this day, Sadyba, not without reason, is one of the most sought-after locations in Warsaw, mainly by families, due to its quiet, residential character, numerous parks, playgrounds and excellent infrastructure. Numerous kindergartens, schools, both Polish and international, restaurants, cafés and excellent communication with the city center are just some of the advantages of this location … and there’s the Sadyba Best Mall shopping center within walking distance.
