The building is divided into a main part with a representative entrance and kitchen facilities, together with a separate entrance and ancillary rooms used by the staff. In the main part on the ground floor there is a living room, a veranda with access to the garden, a very large dining room, a kitchen, a guest toilet and two household bedrooms. HISTORY:
At the beginning of the 19th century Zarębów belonged to Franciszek Bagniewski (coat of arms Bawola Głowa), justice of the peace of the Łęczyca district, and after him to Aleksander Pruszak (coat of arms Leliwa), heir to the town of Żychlin. In 1864 it already belonged to Zofia Łabęcka, who after a few years sold it to Ludwik Toepliz and his wife, Konstancja. At the end of the 19th century, the estate was already owned by Emilia Radwan. In 1905 it was purchased by Leon Stachowski, a distinguished local government activist from the eastern borderlands. It was probably Leon Stachowski who built the still existing manor house in Zarębowo – brick, plastered, consisting of a seven-axial ground floor with a central risalit and a three-axial ground floor. In 1937, the estate was bought at auction by Stachowski’s wife, Mirta, née Stokowska, who came from a landed gentry family from Sobotka. After Leon’s death, the widow sold the manor land, and bequeathed the manor, part of the park and the orchard to her daughter, Maria Agnes. She herself left for the United States. The last pre-war owner of the estate, who bought it in July 1939, was Tomasz Kulesza. In 1945, the farm was parcelled out. The manor was divided into flats for many families and, due to the lack of systematic renovations, it was quickly devastated. In the 1980s it was purchased by private owners. For several years now, the manor has had a new owner who has restored the place to its former glory. The beautifully renovated manor house, built at the beginning of the 20th century, and the well-kept park are now home to Różana Rezydencja – a luxury hotel, spa and restaurant.
LOCATION:
The manor house is located in the village of Zarębów, situated in the province of Łódź, in the county of Kutno, in the municipality of Żychlin. It is 110 km from Warsaw and 70 km from Łódź.
